Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld is reportedly close to leaving the London club at the end of the season, following talks of a contract dispute.
The club are said to be unwilling to offer the Belgian defender the salary he has asked for, said be £200 000 (R3.3 million) a week.
Clubs such as Manchester City and Manchester United are said to be chasing the player's signature, as are French giants PSG.
Along with his wage demands, Alderweireld is also said to have demanded a five-year deal, something the club are reluctant to agree to due to the player being 29 years old.
With it being believed that the player has been told he can leave as a result, it has been said that if the Belgian international does move on from Spurs, he would prefer a move to PSG because they are willing to offer him what he wants.

If Alderweireld – who is said to currently earn £75 000 (R1.2 million) a week – were to sign a deal with the French side for the wage he wants, he would be among Les Parisiens' top five earners.
