Paris Saint-Germain made it 12 wins from 12 matches in Ligue 1 after goals from Kylian Mbappe and Neymar secured a 2-1 win over Lille on Friday evening.
Lille made the promising start, founding the first chance through the boot of a half shot from outside the box by Xeka but Gianluigi Baffon made a good save.
PSG soon came to life and managed to find their first breakthrough when Neymar combined with Kylian Mbappe on the edge of the box before the former shot to the side-netting.
After a beautiful pass from Neymar to Angel Di Maria, the latter couldn't find the breakthrough from point-blank range with only the goalkeeper to beat, before Marquinhos missed an open goal after failing to head from close range following a wide delivery.
It's a stimulus that didn't decrease towards halftime, with the interval outcome bringing a goalless affair.
In the second half, PSG's upward play from all sides of the pitch grew bigger and bigger in the opening exchanges.
With Lille in the mix albeit sparely, PSG remained in charge and soon surged ahead after nice team play.
With 20 minutes to go, Mbappe broke the deadlock after finishing from close proximity for his 11th league goal this season.
The World Cup star nearly made it two but was denied by solid goalkeeping from Mike Maignan, who kept him out with a good save.
Brazilian superstar Neymar completed the victory with the second minutes to the end to maintain their perfect start.
That wasn't before Nicolas Pepe secured a consolation for the visitors from the penalty spot in added time to round off the match as a whole.
PSG remain the only side in Europe's top five leagues with a perfect record this season, claiming 12 wins from 12 matches.
