Italy Legend Buffon Announces Juventus Departure
The goalkeeper has reportedly decided to continue his career elsewhere, although he was also said to be considering retirement from the beautiful game.
It is believed that Buffon was set to hang up his boots, but an array of offers from top clubs around Europe has convinced him to play for at least another season.
According to French outlet Canal+, Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites to sign the Bianconeri's departing legend after offering him a two-year contract.
Liverpool also reportedly contacted the veteran shot-stopper before PSG showed interest, but it is the French side who appear to be closing in on the 40-year-old's signature.
The player is also believed to have had offers from clubs outside of Europe, but wants to continue his career close to home.

Following 17 years at Juventus, Buffon will play his final game for the Old Lady on Saturday, in their Serie A clash against Hellas Verona.
