Neymar's second-half strike, was enough to hand Paris Saint-Germain a 1-0 win over Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.
The visitors enjoyed a lot of possession in the early stages and also managed to carve out a couple chances, with Angel Di Maria and Giovani Le Celso going close in the opening 15 minutes.
Toulouse did not sit back as they created a couple of openings of their own, as Yaya Sanogo went the closets by forcing Alphonse Areola into a fine save.
The Ligue 1 leaders' frustration started to show as the half went on, as Lafont somehow denied Neymar from point-blank range in the 39th minute.
Neymar had another chance just before the break, but the Brazilian forward blazed his effort over the crossbar before Kylian Mbappe struck the woodwork moments later.
PSG struggled to break down the Toulouse defence in the opening 15 minutes of the second half.
However, the deadlock was eventually broke in the 68th minute, when Neymar fired past Lafont via a big deflection, 0-1.
10 minutes later, Neymar nearly bagged his and PSG's second on the night but his powerful strike crashed against the crossbar.
Unai Emery's charges continued to push for a second goal in the closing stages of the half, but they were unable to carve out another opening as the score remained 1-0 at the full-time whistle.
