Date: 06 April 2018
Venue: Stade Geoffroy-Guichard
Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain struck in the dying minutes to rescue a 1-1 draw against Saint-Etienne on Friday evening.
Despite not having Neymar, the visitors still boasted the likes of Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and Javier Pastore in attack while Edinson Cavani was named among the substitutes.
After a quiet start to the first half, the home side broke the deadlock on 17 minutes thanks to a fine strike from Remy Cabella.
Saint-Etienne were then awarded a penalty in the 29th minute after Presnel Kimpembe committed a foul in the box.
Cabella stepped up to the spot but PSG shot-stopper Alphonse Areola guessed the right way to save the midfielder's effort.
It got worse for PSG with four minutes remaining in the half as they were reduced to 10 men when Kimpembe was sent off for picking up a second yellow card.
Unai Emery's charges struggled to carve out chances in the opening 15 minutes of the second half, which prompted the manager to introduce Edinson Cavani for Javier Pastore.
Saint-Etienne went close to doubling their lead in the 74th minute as Oussama Tannane rattled the crossbar with a strike from distance.
PSG threw numbers forward in search of an equaliser and they were rewarded in the second minute of stoppage time courtesy of an own goal from Mathieu Debuchy.
