During a poor campaign with Chelsea in 2015/16, Belgian winger Eden Hazard was heavily linked with the French giants. A move did not materialise, however, as it was Jose Mourinho who left halfway through the season instead, perhaps to the relief of many Blues fans.

According to The Sun, Kevin De Bruyne was chased by PSG before he signed for Manchester City on the last day of the 2015 August transfer window.

In 2017, the same publication linked Real Madrid's five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo with Les Parisiens, although he has reportedly been a transfer target of the club's for quite some time. Ronaldo is first believed to have reject the chance to move to PSG in 2015.

N'Golo Kante is believed to have snubbed the French giants for a move to Chelsea when he left Leicester City in 2016, while Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann once hinted that he would only join the French top flight in the latter stages of his career as it is not as strong as LaLiga and the Premier League.

Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba was reportedly wanted by the Ligue 1 giants before he returned to the Red Devils two seasons ago, while, according to the Daily Mirror, Thibaut Courtois rejected a move to PSG in 2016.

New FC Barcelona signing Philippe Coutinho was heavily linked with PSG at the beginning of this season and in January, but decided the Camp Nou was the best place to take his future.

Sportskeeda linked French defender Aymeric Laporte with the Ligue 1 leaders last year, while Miralem Pjanic once revealed he rejected PSG in January 2014.
