France star Antoine Griezmann has finally broken his silence on his surprise deadline day departure from FC Barcelona.

The Frenchman secured a loan move to Atletico Madrid in the final hours of the transfer window last week, forcing Barcelona to make a late move for Luuk de Jong from Sevilla.
The deal is only a loan but Los Rojiblancos have the obligation to make the move permanent if the forward plays more than 50 percent of the club's games this season.
Griezmann, who was unveiled on Wednesday, admits Atletico has always been his home and where he's always been the happiest.
"I'm content and happy," Griezmann said to the club's media.
"I've been ten days unable to sleep because I was waiting for this moment, but now I'm enjoying it with my family.

"I'm going to give everything to repay the great effort the club made to bring me back. My part was easy. I wanted to come back no matter what; it's always been the best place for me, the place where I'm happy on and off the pitch."
