Brazil Confirm Squad To Face African Giants, Big Stars Left Out

Brazil have announced their squad to face African giants Morocco later this month, although a few big names have been left out.

The South American giants will only have one match in the upcoming international as they take on the Atlas Lions, who finished fourth at the recent World Cup in Qatar.

Ramon Menezes took over the head coach role on an interim basis following Tite's departure last year and he has sprung a few surprises with his squad list.

Chelsea signing Andre Santos has earned his first call-up at the age 18, while Emerson Royale and Wolverhampton Wanderers' Joao Gomes have also been called up.

While there are a number of uncapped players in the squad, Menezes has decided to leave out Neymar, Fred, Fabinho and Barcelona star Raphinha for the Morocco encounter.
