The Catalan giants have chosen not to hide their interest in a reunion with the Paris Saint-Germain forward, whose contract in Paris expires in June.
Barca, however, will reportedly only be able to move for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner if they sell players of their own in the coming transfer window, with Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan also linked with the LaLiga leaders.
According to Spanish outlet AS, the LaLiga club is willing to sanction the departure of Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie following his underwhelming debut season in Spain.
Still just 26 years old, the former AC Milan captain's difficult first campaign at Barcelona is unlikely to put teams around Europe off from moving for him, with the Spanish giants believing there will be a market for the player.

Transfermarkt values Kessie at €28 million (R558 million), but the Blaugrana could get more for his signature, especially if teams from the Premier League enter a bidding war for the Ivorian.
