The 34-year-old, who will be out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain come the end of June, recently teased fans and journalists by stating there would be a big announcement from his camp on Tuesday.
However, instead of revealing his future destination, Ibrahimovic unveiled his new A-Z sportswear brand, and when he was asked about his next club, he remained tight-lipped.
"There is no confirmation. No saying 'Yes'. You will have to be patient with me," he said, as quoted by ESPN.
"You are a journalist, no? I want you to keep wondering where I will go, and keep making stories, because I enjoy it while the stories go out.
"When I feel tired, I will let you know where my next destination is."
English publication The Telegraph suggested that Ibrahimovic and his agent Mino Raiola are holding up a move to United because they will collect special bonus payments if the Swede sees out his PSG contract.

The report also claimed the Red Devils are busy preparing a deal worth £250 000 (R5.4 million) a week for Ibrahimovic to join the club, which would make him the second highest paid player in the Premier League.
