Since the Spaniard arrived at the Etihad Stadium, the playmaker has been an ever-present in his Mancunian outfit.
Under no manager has De Bruyne performed better than under the tutelage of the Catalan tactician, having scored 80 goals and provided 140 assists since Guardiola joined City in 2016.
Their union culminated in the club capturing a remarkable treble triumph last season, but it seems that achievement could be the final significant contribution the Belgian may have with the Citizens.
According to TEAMTalk, Guardiola has given the green light for the club to sell the Belgium legend at the end of the season.
Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr are rumoured to be interested in the 32-year-old and with the growing number of injuries the Drongen native has sustained in recent seasons, it seems the two-time treble-winning coach is prepared to replace the Belgian.
The same report claims that City are open to accepting a bid in the region of £60 million (R1.3 billion) for the ex-Chelsea man, and that his current situation gives those at the Knights of Najd genuine belief they can sign him at the end of the season.

Should De Bruyne successfully sign with Al Nassr, he will likely be among the highest-paid players in the world and star alongside other former Premier League superstars in Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
