Reports in England suggest that Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is close to selling the club after 13 years in charge, with the Magpies expected to be sold for £300 million (R7 billion) to Saudi Arabia royal family's Public Investment Fund (PIF) led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

While the Glazer family is believed to be worth £3.6 billion (R84 billion), the Foxes chief is reported to be worth £4.6 billion (R108 billion). Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers' owners are said to be richer than the aforementioned bosses, while the wealthiest owner currently is Manchester City's Sheikh Mansour.
