Nottingham Forest 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool struck in the dying stages of the second half to secure a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

The Reds still had a number of first-team injuries to deal but were unable to find a way past the Forest defence until the 98th minute.

Substitute Darwin Nunez got on the end of Alexis Mac Allister's cross to nod into the bottom corner.

The win sees Jurgen Klopp's men move four points clear of second-place Manchester City, who face Manchester United on Sunday.

Brentford 2-2 Chelsea

Chelsea and Brentford settled for a share of the spoils after playing to a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

The Blues got the breakthrough ten minutes before the halftime break as Nicolas Jackson nodded home a cross from Malu Gusto.

Brentford managed to level matters five minutes after the halftime break through Mads Roerslev's close-range finish.

The hosts completed the turnaround in the 69th minute thanks to Yoane Wissa's acrobatic effort, however Axel Disasi rescued a point for the Blues with a towering header in the 83rd minute.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur gave their top four ambitions a boos with a come-from-behind victory over London rivals Crystal Palace.

Eberechi Eze opened the scoring for the visitors in the 59th minute with a wonderful free-kick, before Timo Werner pulled Spurs level in the 77th minute with his first goal for the club.

The hosts completed the turnaround three minutes later with Cristian Romero nodding home, while Son Heung-Min sealed the win for the home side on 88 minutes.

Other results:

Everton 1-3 West Ham UNited

Fulham 3-0 Brighton and Hove Albion

Newcastle United 3-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
