A former teammate of Mesut Ozil's has claimed that the German playmaker "had problems with everyone".

Former Arsenal left-back Nacho Monreal has seemingly disclosed that one big issue with Ozil in north London was that he had complicated relationships with everyone at the club.
"Ozil's problem is that he had problems with everyone," the Spaniard told FourFourTwo in a recent interview.
"It ended badly with [former Arsenal manager Arsene] Wenger, he didn't play the last few games with him, then [ex-Gunners boss Unai] Emery tried to bring him back and make him our leader.
"To begin with, he gave him a lot of confidence and Mesut played a lot, but the coach understood there were other teammates who were in better condition.
"Ozil was one of the best players in the team, one of the best-paid, but they saw he wasn't at the level required."
The 33-year-old's time at the Emirates was perhaps a polarising one. As a result of signing for a then-club record fee of €47 million (R758 million) in 2013, the central attacking midfielder arrived at Arsenal with a great deal of expectation.
Having not won a single piece of silverware in a decade, Ozil helped the Gunners end their trophy drought by winning the 2013/14 FA Cup, the first of three he would win with the club.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner, however, failed to help Arsenal reach the summit of English and European football, and his time with the club ended in acrimony.
The former captain was eventually cast aside by all three of his managers before being allowed to leave for Turkish giants Fenerbahce on a free transfer in January last year.
He scored 44 goals and provided 77 assists during his eight-year spell with the Gunners.
