French centre-back Ibrahima Konate arrived on Merseyside from RB Leipzig in 2021, and has already carved out a starting position for himself at the Reds.
The defender has played 65 times since signing for the Premier League giants two seasons ago, but the 12-cap France international has now hinted that he could yet make a move to Paris Saint-Germain at some point.
A native of the French capital, the 24-year-old is often questioned about a possible move to the Parc des Prince, and he has revealed it is not something that is beyond the realms of possibility.
"If I said no, I'd be lying, but if you're asking, is it one of my objectives? Not at all," he told Canal Plus.
The Ligue 1 giants have been recruiting a lot of French-born talent recently, with the likes of Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembele and Lucas Hernandez joining over the past few months, and this is something Konate claims the fanbase has been clamouring for.

"PSG has made sure to recruit players who understand each other well and who play with each other for the France national team. Even for the people and the Parisian fans, it makes them happy. It's what they've been waiting for for years, having Parisian players or at least French players in the team," the Red star added.
