According to The Athletic, England's captain has now agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich on a proposed four-year deal.
The 30-year-old is believed to be waiting on the green light from Tottenham Hotspur to travel to Munich to complete a medical and finalise a move to the home of the record Bundesliga champions.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the two-time treble winners had agreed a €100 million (R2 billion) transfer fee with the north Londoners that would make Kane the most expensive player in their history.
While it was mooted that the Three Lions' all-time leading goalscorer was leaning towards staying with the Lilywhites having had a taste of life under new Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, the same report now claims that Kane has ultimately decided to call time on this chapter of his career with his boyhood club.
The London native was said to want a resolution to his future before Spurs' first Premier League game of the new season against Brentford, and it now appears that his wish has been granted as the playmaking forward looks set to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the club's all-time leading scorer.
After Robert Lewandowski's departure to Barcelona at the beginning of last season, the Bavarian giants struggled to find an adequate replacement, but it looks as though the 33-time German champions have now got their man.
Giving Current Legends Their Roses: Aubameyang
Die Roten had an underwhelming 2022/23 campaign by their standards, but with the likely arrival of Kane, the German giants will be hoping to perform better this coming season, especially in the UEFA Champions League.
