Under-pressure Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has addressed his side's poor form, with the Reds having won just four Premier League matches so far this season.
Klopp Explains Why He Took Nunez Off In EPL Win
It has been a difficult start to the 2022/23 campaign for the 2021/22 FA Cup and Carabao Cup winners, having failed to win eight of the 12 league games they have played this season.
Following a recent shock loss to the newly promoted Nottingham Forest, Klopp's side suffered yet another defeat in the English top flight this past weekend, this time a 2-1 loss to Leeds United at Anfield.
Many believe the successful team put together by the German tactician has reached the end of its cycle, with supporters concerned that the club's ownership has not invested enough to keep the squad fresh.
Serious injuries to Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz have only added to Liverpool's misery, but Klopp has insisted it is his job as manager to be able to pull the players out of these moments.
"It's not a quick fix but we will not stop fighting," he said, according to BBC Sport.
"People look at me and they say 'he looks tired' or whatever, but I'm not.
"I cannot give that excuse. My job is not only to be here when the sun is shining and somebody gives us a trophy.
"My job is to be there when we go through a really rough period and I will do that with all I have."
