Spanish giants FC Barcelona are reportedly working on a swap deal that would see Arsenal star Mesut Ozil move to the Camp Nou.
Report: 10 Players On Barca's Axe List
According to English publication the Daily Star, the Blaugrana are willing to allow Andre Gomes to join the North London club if they can strike a deal for the Germany international.
Ozil is apparently considered a more affordable option than Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, and after his stunning performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, the race for his signature has intensified.
The Germany midfielder is said to be open to a move back to La Liga in January, and Arsenal could allow him to leave for about £20 million (R330 million) if they cannot get him to sign a new deal.
Gomes, meanwhile, is said to be desperate to get away from the Camp Nou in the upcoming window, with few opportunities to play coming under manager Ernesto Valverde.
