Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, who spent two years at Juventus before rejoining Real Madrid, has revealed he regrets going back to Los Blancos.
Frustrated Conte Aims Dig At Chelsea Board?
The Spaniard left Los Blancos for the Bianconeri in 2014, but part of the contract agreement was that if Juve were willing to sell the player, Real would have first option on his signature.
Morata has claimed that he had no choice but to go back to Real in July 2016, which he feels was a big mistake.
"We had a contract agreements that we had to respect," he told Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"I was really disappointed as I went back to being at square one... before I moved to Italy I was treated like a kid, and I should never have rejoined Madrid."
The 25-year-old also spoke about the different leagues he has played in, and admitted he would love to go back to Italy one day.
"Differences between the leagues? In Spain they prefer technique, in Italy tactics dominate but it is also supplemented by quality. In England the most important aspect is physicality," he said.
"Would I want to return to Italy? Yes, very much! My wife wants to live in Spain and me in Italy, so London is a compromise!"
