Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski has sent a warning to Golden Boot rival Erling Haaland after his impressive start to life in Germany.

Haaland has been a revelation since joining Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020, having bagged an impressive 80 goals in 79 appearances.
Lewandowski has still been able to beat Haaland to the Golden Boot in the Bundesliga, but he has warned the Norwegian there will be guarantee that he will be this good later in his career.
"Haaland is a great player who is fun to watch," Lewandowski told Polish magazine PilkaNozna.
"But just because someone has great potential doesn't mean they will be a real star for many years to come.
"Everyone develops differently. He's strong, fast, physical. His game is based on that. I have different qualities. And we don't know how he will develop."
