Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski has reacted to beating Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi to the 2021 The Best FIFA Men's Player award after he narrowly lost out to the latter at last year's Ballon d'Or ceremony.
It has been a sensational and rewarding few years for the Poland international, who has now scooped a second The Best FIFA Men's Player accolade to add to his expanding trophy collection.
Lewandowski pipped both Salah and Messi to the prestigious individual prize, becoming the first player since Cristiano Ronaldo to win it back-to-back after the Portuguese forward's success in 2016 and 2017.
