RB Leipzig missed the chance to move within one point of leaders Bayern Munich after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bayer Leverkusen at Red Bull Arena.
Leon Bailey broke the deadlock for Bayer in the 29th minute but the joy was short-lived as Patrick Schick levelled matters for Leipzig just three minutes later.
Neither side could find the winner in the second stanza, as second-placed Leipzig were left three points Bayern while Bayer remain in fifth place.
Leverkusen will switch their focus to the DFB-Pokal, as they host Union Berlin in the quarter-finals on Wednesday evening.
Wolfsburg came back from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw against Union Berlin at Stadion An Der Alten Forsterei.
The hosts raced into a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Sebastian Andersson and Marvin Friedrich scored in either half.
However, Wolfsburg rallied to first get a goal back through Yannick Gerhardt on the hour-mark before Wout Weghorst snatched the equaliser in the last nine minutes.
Union went up to tenth on the table while Wolfsburg climbed up to seventh position.
