Bayern Cement Top Spot, Dortmund Clinch 5th Straight Win

Bayern Munich 3-0 Bochum

Bayern Munich consolidated top spot in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Bochum on Saturday evening.

Serge Gnabry was back in the line-up and joined Leroy Sane and Eric-Maxim Chuopo-Moting inthe attack.

Thomas Muller opened the scoring for the defending champions in the 41st minute with his fourth league goal of the season.

Kingsley Coman doubled the lead in the 64th minute before Gnabry converted a penalty ten minutes later to seal the win.

Werder Bremen 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund registered a fifth straight league win after defeating Werder Bremen 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Dortmund dominated possession in the first half, but found it tough to break down Bremen's defence.

Bremen's resolve eventually broke in the 67th minute when 18-year-old Jamie Bynoe-Gittens found the back of the net.

Julian Brandt sealed the win for Dortmund in the 84th minute after being set up by Raphael Guerreiro.

Freiburg 2-1 Stuttgart

Freiburg rallied from behind to defeat Stuttgart 2-1 at the Europa-Park Stadion on Saturday afternoon.

Chris Führich gave Freiburg the lead in the 30th minute with his fourth league goal.

However, a brace from Vincenzo Grifo in the second half guided Freiburg back to winning ways.

Mainz 3-1 Augsburg 

Mainz got back to winning ways in the league after defeating Augsburg 3-1 at the MEWA Arena.

Lee Jae-Sung bagged a brace, while Karim Onisiwo also netted for the home side.

Hoffenheim 1-3 Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen kept their top six hopes alive with a 3-1 victory away to Hoffenheim.

Robert Andrich, Moussa Diaby and Adam Hlozek found the target for the away side, while Stanley Nsoki got Hoffenheim's consolation.
