Despite the Moroccan domestic season having already commenced, the Red Castle are still looking to recruit for the 2024/25 campaign, and it seems the main position they are looking to bolster at the moment is the striker's role.
A name that has been continuously linked with the north African giants in recent weeks is Young Africans' Clement Mzize, who continues to grow in prominence on the African continent.
The 20-year-old is a product of Yanga's academy, and has caught the attention of many of top sides, with Wydad and Chiefs seemingly the forward's primary suitors.
The Tanzania international has already opened his account for the new season, scoring in both legs of Yanga's first preliminary stage CAF Champions League encounter against Vital'O FC, and the record Moroccan champions are hoping he can find the back of the net for them too.
According to Le Site Info Sports, Wydad have already seen various offers for Mzize rebuffed, but president Hicham Ait Menna is determined to sign the four-cap Tanzania international for Rulani Mokwena and has increased their latest offer to $510 000.
