With Wydad Athletic Club president Said Naciri having been arrested, the club has reportedly put new chiefs in charge in the interim.

The Moroccan executive was arrested earlier this week for stealing assets belonging to a drug dealer involved in a trafficking case.
The record Botola Pro champions chief is yet to be sentenced, but the club has already taken the initiative to put other people in charge to run the club.
According to Kifache, the club has established a temporary committee that will take charge of matters until their next general assembly. Naciri's deputies Abdel Majeed Bernaki and Saad Al-Darib are expected to head this committee.
A source close to the publication confirmed that until a date is set for the next general assembly and nominees avail themselves for the position, the club will operate with Bernaki and Al-Darib as their heads.
The same report claims that the committee will also continue to run the club if no nominees decide to step forward when the elections arrive.
However, whoever is to succeed Naciri has a lot of work to do as earlier this month news emerged that the north African giants are struggling with cash flow.

They will also need to find a resolution for the sporting project as the team has stuttered in form lately after a promising start to the campaign.
