Late last month, the former Mamelodi Sundowns talisman made the staggering announcement that he would be returning to the Zimbabwe national team after choosing to call time on his international career in November 2021.
The 34-year-old is believed to have taken the decision following lengthy conversations with new Warriors head coach Michael Nees, and the skilful winger is set to make his return on the international stage against Kenya for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
Ahead of that match, Kenya boss Engin Firat was complimentary of the entire Zimbabwean squad, but especially of the ex-Kaizer Chiefs star, claiming that he will likely pose the biggest threat to his side when they meet at the Mandela National Stadium.
"You saw Zimbabwe has no squad problems, all players are fit, all of them are back," Firat told Kenyan media, as per Soccer24.
"Not only this, even players who didn't come before, they come back, like Khama Billiat, who is a very good player, someone who stopped from retirement, and also other players with a new coach.
