Burnley Manager Provides Lyle Foster Update

Lyle Foster's proposed return to the Premier League appears to have fallen through, according to reports.

Burnley coach Scott Parker has provided an update on Lyle Foster ahead of their next Championship encounter.

The Bafana Bafana striker missed the Clarets' 1-0 win over Leeds United last weekend due to illness on returning from international duty.

Foster was on target for the national team in the last international break against Uganda and also featured against South Sudan.

However,  Parker has confirmed Foster will be a late decision on Saturday ahead of kick-off.

"(Roberts Foster) They're close, they have both been on the training ground this week and we will make late calls on them nearer to tomorrow.," Parker said, as per the club's website.

"Ramsey trained for the first time on the grass last week, which was massive for him and we're really pleased for him. Jordan (Beyer) has just come out of surgery recently, so there's a longer road ahead for him, but it feels like we have got to the bottom of that issue now.

"John (Egan) and Enock (Agyei) both played for the U21s this week and it was good for them both just to get minutes under their belt in an 11v11 match."
