Mamelodi Sundowns have two players who could leave on a free in January, and a further four who could do the same come June next year. If they all part ways with the clubs, Downs are in line to lose close to R50 million. What do you make of this?

Wayne Arendse and Thabo Nthethe have both entered into their final months of their contract with the Chloorkop outfit, and could be free to leave the club in January should they not be offered a new deal.

Over the years, many PSL clubs have lost some of their biggest players for failure to offer an extension on time, and Downs could very well find themselves in a precarious position if they don't ask fast.

The defensive duo aren’t the only two names to worry about. In fact, there are four more players would could begin talks with other clubs in January too, and that includes Brazilians skipper Hlompho Kekana.

Should Downs not seal the deal on the players' futures soon, they stand the risk of losing nearly R47.24 million. Not to mention, the likes of Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat have been tipped to leave, so there is a need to keep the base of the squad together next season.
