The eight-time Algerian champions were eliminated from the CAFCC under controversial circumstances last month, with RS Berkane progressing to the final of the competition because of a dispute surrounding the Moroccan outfit's kit.
The Orange Boys refused to play the first leg after their original jerseys were confiscated by Algerian authorities, while in the second leg, USMA refused to play against their opponents because they felt their strips incited political tension.
Berkane were awarded 3-0 victories for both encounters, and in an official statement, CAF stated that additional sanctions could be handed to their opponents following an investigation.

Last season's Confederation Cup champions, with the assistance of FAF, then filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to dispute CAF's ruling regarding the matches.
Their decision on the matter is still pending, but according Le360 Sport, FAF president Walid Said asked Motsepe and CAF secretary-general Veron Mosengo-Omba at the recent FIFA Congress in Thailand for CAF delay any further punishment they wish to impose on USMA until CAS is able to deliver their own verdict.
The same report claims that CAF has agreed to postpone an announcement on a decision made on the matter.
