Pirates Out? Aziz Ki 'Offered' To African Giants

Rumoured Orlando Pirates target Stephane Aziz Ki has reportedly been offered to a north African giant by his agent as he approaches the end of his current deal.

The Burkina Faso international has been a hot topic of discussion in recent weeks. The attacking midfielder was a shining light for Young Africans as they made it to the knockout phase of the CAF Champions League for the first time since the 1969/70 season.

During their quarter-final clash against Mamelodi Sundowns, the 28-year-old proved a real threat for Masandawana, and although Yanga are now out of the competition, the Ivory Coast-born attacker has seemingly caught the eye of multiple continental titans.

The likes of Pirates and Pyramids FC in Egypt are rumoured to be keen on landing Aziz Ki, but it seems his representatives are angling for a different move.

According to One 3 News, the 12-time Burkina Faso international has been offered to record African champions Al Ahly.

The same report claims that a final decision will ultimately rest on head coach Marcel Koller and whether or not he thinks Aziz Ki would be a suitable addition to the squad.

The player has previously claimed he has no intention of leaving the Tanzanian giants at the end of the season, but with his contract in Dar es Salaam expiring once the 2023/24 campaign concludes and a number of offers on the table, it remains to be seen if he will commit his long-term future to the Wananchi.
