Nomvethe's KZN Sport accolade

KZN's biggest sport stars were celebrated at the KZN Sport Awards over the weekend, staged by the provincial government at the Durban International Convention Centre.

Nomvethe, who enjoyed a successful career playing for the likes of Udinese, Empoli, Aarlborg BK, and both Soweto giants among other teams, is one of the best athletes KwaZulu Natal has ever produced.

The ex-Bafana Bafana striker was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award alongside Proteas cricket legend Hashim Amla.
