Among the fleet of luxury rides in MaMkhize's garage in Durban, lies a sophisticated Mercedes Maybach S — an head-turning beauty that's a stand out in the Royal AM owner's car collection.
We will be taking a good look at what makes this Maybach stand out from the rest of MaMkhize's car as well as the new, limited Maybach that she posted on her Instagram stories.

MaMkhize's Maybach
Shauwn Mkhize appreciates the Maybach models almost as much as Rick Roos and to be fair, can you blame her?
Among her host of ultra-luxurious vehicles, sits a Mercedes-Maybach S680 Edition 100. A remarkable machine that was unveiled in 2021 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the luxury nameplate, according to the Mail Guardian.
MaMkhize appears to be the only owner of this ride in Mzansi, as there was a small production run of 100 units worldwide, with South Africa only received one unit.

The singular unit was auctioned out for R6.95 million, around R3 million more than the original asking price at the Mercedes-Benz Sandton dealership, as per the MG.
The silver and blue stunner is based on the Maybach S680 4Matic sedan, according to robreport.com, with the two cars being "identical from a technical perspective."
Like the S680, MaMkhize's Maybach is "powered by a beast of a 6.0-litre V12 bi-turbo petrol engine. It produces an extraordinary 450 kW of power and 900 Nm of torque which is sent to all four wheels via nine-speed automatic transmission.
It comes with rear wheel steering that enables the car's turning circle to be reduced by two metres, plus air suspension to make the ride as plush as possible," writes Jaco van der Merwe from The Citizen.
This limited edition Maybach features five display screens, with one of them being a removable tablet. Noise cancelling technology and an incredible 42-speaker 4D Burmeister sound system make up some of the many interior features of this unique whip,
The exquisite exterior has been hand-painted in two-tone Cirrus Silver and Nautical Blue, as mentioned by robreport.com, and it rides on a on a set of "20-inch monoblock forged wheels, finished in dark chrome," according to the same article.
MaMkhize shared a video of the innovative Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet on her Instagram story yesterday, is she hinting at purchasing a new one to twin with the S-class?
Only time will tell but we fully understand why MaMkhize has heart eyes for this electric Maybach stunner, that was limited to only 300 models upon its release back in 2017, with a reported value of over R5.8 million.
This electric whip produces 550 kW of power and Mercedes says it accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 249 km/h.
