The 23-year-old spent the final six months of this past season on loan at Chelsea in the Premier League, but has returned to Los Rojiblancos ahead of the coming campaign.
Felix's future in Madrid, however, remains uncertain despite being the club's most expensive player of all time following his arrival from Benfica in 2019 for €127 million (R2.5 billion).
The Portuguese star has a contract at Atletico that runs until 2027, but recently admitted that he has always dreamed of representing his side's LALIGA rivals Barcelona.
"I would love to play for Barca," he told transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
"Barcelona has always been my first choice and I would like to join them.
"It has been my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, if I can sign for Barca, it will be a dream come true."
