The Portugal international has been linked with a move away from Manchester City, with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain having been credited with an interest in the player.
However, there are also teams in Saudi Arabia trying to tempt him away from the Citizens.
According to the Daily Star, the 28-year-old has been offered £800 000 a week by an unnamed club in the Saudi Pro League, a deal that would see him become one of the sport's best-paid stars.
The midfielder is among the high-profile players being pursued by the Middle Eastern country after the recent arrivals of Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy.
