Barcelona are facing yet more transfer issues after their deal for Marcos Alonso from Chelsea was reported to FIFA for fraud.

It seems the Blaugrana have found themselves in more financial trouble, with news emerging of a possible irregularity regarding Alonso's switch from west London to Catalonia in September last year.
According AS, Alonso's boyhood academy Union Adarve have insisted they did not receive what they believe is their rightful percentage of the fee for his move to the Camp Nou and have now reported the LaLiga table-toppers to world football's governing body for their alleged fraudulent activities.
As per the same report, FIFA have established a system whereby a small percentage of all transfer fees go to the player's youth teams and because Adarve believe that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's move from Barca to Chelsea on the same day, a €12 million (R232 million) transfer, was part of the Alonso deal, the fourth division side feel they are entitled to €103 000 (R1.9 million).
The left-back has established himself firmly in Xavi Hernandez's plans this season, and started and opened the scoring for Barca in their 2-2 draw with Manchester United in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League playoff match on Thursday, but his saga is one of a number of deals done by the Spanish outfit that are suspected to be be marred by financial indiscretions.
The Blaugrana recently took LaLiga to court after they were unable to register playmaker Gavi's new contract because of the league's salary limits.

While they were successful in that case, there is another new contract the club has so far been unable to register and that is the new deal for Uruguayan centre back Ronald Araujo.
The 23-year-old inked a new contract in October 2022, but because Barca's wage bill is reportedly 20% over the league's limit, the registration of that deal is not possible for the time being.
