Former Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller is reportedly upset with his former employer over a clause in his contract.

Koller was relieved of his duties as Al Ahly coach after the Red Devils were eliminated from the CAF Champions League semi-finals at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Egyptian side has moved swiftly to replace the Swiss tactician with outgoing Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro poised to join the Egyptian giants ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Since his departure, Koller has reportedly demanded full compensation of his dues until next season following his exit, according to Sport El Watan.
Egyptian media presenter Medhat Shalaby revealed the latest developments between Al Ahly and Koller.
"Foreign coaches are very sharp when it comes to finances — much more than we are — and they never give up their rights," Shalaby said.
He continued: "Koller expressed his anger over the delay in resolving the issue with Al Ahly, and the club has been informed that he is extremely upset. He’s demanded his money in cash — not a single pound less.”
The presenter added that Koller is reportedly waiting to receive his full payment before he joins a new side.
"What I’ve learned is that once Koller receives the release clause compensation, it’s entirely possible that the very next day he could sign with another club — whether in Switzerland or even with a Gulf team — because this month-by-month waiting is holding him back," Shalaby added.

Shalaby said Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib is reportedly set to meet with Koller's agent, Dino Lamberti, to try and resolve the crisis, but there remains no solution so far.
