Over the 13 year period that ABSA were the title sponsors for Mzansi's top flight, we had the big three alongside dark horses like SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits competing for the league and plenty of iconic post-match moments.
The entertainment of the ABSA Premiership era was unmatched, with quick-witted personalities like Pitso Mosimane and cult heroes like Kgoloko Thobejane wrote themselves into the football comedy history books.
Ex-Baroka boss, Thobejane had the country in stitches with his immortal comment that's become a catchphrase: "football can kill you a real death," after a 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates in 2017.

Along with collecting five league titles and building a dynasty with Mamelodi Sundowns, Pitso Mosimane gave fans some moments to savour with his colourful interviews after a match.
After his side overcame Maritzburg United, 2-1, in the Telkom Knockout Cup final, Mosimane was asked by Julia Stuart on his thoughts about a disallowed goal by Judas Moseamedi. To which he responded:
"I benefited and I have no shame! Some people have been getting all these benefits, I will get them, I want them five games in a row. I've got no shame on that, it is the way it is in this Premier League."

Last but not least is former Free State Stars' Ghanian stiker, Mohammed Anas' Man of the Match interview that went viral.
After bagging a brace in his side's 2-2 draw against Ajax Cape Town in 2017, Anas was delighted with his performance and thanked his wife when speaking to SuperSport TV during his post-match interview, but moments later, Anas also thanked his girlfriend — a slip of the tongue that was viewed by millions online and made international news.
Anas bizarrely told BBC news that he was referring to his daughter and not another woman: "My family knows that I call my daughter my girlfriend. That's what I was talking about. I don't have a girlfriend."
