Moroka Swallows coach Zeca Marques was delighted with his team's performance in their 1-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday - read full match report here.
The Dube Birds took the lead through a penalty from Siyabonga Nomvethe after David Mathebule had been brought down by Method Mwanjali - who was sent off.
Marques believes that his side stuck to their tactics and feels that it was a fair result on the day.
"I thought it was a great tactical performance from our team. They took the tactics on the field exactly how we wanted. We knew that we could break Sundowns down. The penalty was fair and the sending off was fair," he said.
"We knew that against a 10-man team Sundowns are always difficult. Overall it was a gutsy performance from our guys.
"If we organise ourselves and we follow the instructions, tactics and organisation wins games. I'm delighted, that's what I expected from the guys."
After already seeing off Orlando Pirates, Marques was asked if he would like to take on another of the so-called 'big teams', but he admitted that his side should be taking results against all of the others if they want to do well.
"The league is not about three big teams, it is about the other teams. If we beat them we can win the league," he added.
