Rumours have been circulating in the local football fraternity suggesting that one of the PSL's top clubs is up for sale.
The club in question is one of the Gauteng giants, Bidvest Wits.
Wits Chief Operations Office Jonathan Schloss, has however, rubbished the rumours and made it clear that there is no truth to the speculation.
"Bidvest Wits is not for sale," Schloss told the Siya crew.
The COO has been in weekly contact with the club's chairman, Alan Fainman, and Schloss says that they have been planning for the future.
"I say that because it has never been discussed or even raised. In fact, our discussions are centered around planning for next season, with regard to where we are and what we are doing. So the answer to the club possibly being sold is no."
Schloss further revealed that the club, like all others, is in the market for new players to strengthen the squad, while there could be a few departures from the Clever Boys at the end of the season.
"This season is no different to any other. We are a progressive team, continuously striving to be better, so we will always be on the lookout for new signings," Schloss added.
