The Siya crew has been led to believe that Stellenbosch FC won't rule out a return for midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange.
It's understood that SuperSport United could part ways with the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder after just one season at the end of this campaign, having struggled to make a mark since joining them following his departure from Naturena.
In this time at SuperSport this season, the 32-year-old has made 17 appearances in all competitions. He has made just two starts in the league and six starting line-up appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Competition has been tough in the middle of the park for the former Black Leopards midfielder, but head coach Gavin Hunt recently revealed to the Siya crew that the player also struggled with his fitness due to a lack of game time at his previous club, Chiefs.
Nange, who has only featured twice in the DStv Premiership in 2024, has a contract with SuperSport until the end of June 2025, but indications are that they could part ways or work out a deal that sees a player from Stellenbosch joining Matsatsantsa.
It will be a big last two months of the season for the midfielder as he waits to see what will happen with his career at SuperSport, who will have discussions with the player and his camp soon.
