Jamie Webber might have made it onto Cape Town City's radar as a potential target for next season, the Siya crew has been told.
The Sekhukhune United midfielder has received a new lease on life since making the switch to Babina Noko at the start of the campaign after struggling for game time at SuperSport United.
According to reliable sources privy to player movements in the Premier Soccer League, it's now emerged that the Citizens have asked questions about whether Sekhukhune would be willing to sell the young midfielder.
Webber has been touted as a future prospect from the time he was signed from Stellenbosch in 2018 and despite a bright start to life at Matsatsantsa, he eventually fell out of favour at the club, which saw him move on.
When the move came, the 26-yearold made the most of it and has been pivotal for Sekhukhune in their domestic and continental exploits with 28 appearances so far and contributing with five goals and four assists.
It's no surprise then that, as indicated by Siya sources, City are believed to have enquired about the player. Webber joins Haashim Domingo on that wish list, with City understood to also be interested in the midfielder.
