Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha has opened up on what he has shared with new teammate Selaelo Rasebotja, having previously played together at SuperSport United.
Rasebotja penned a deal with the Buccaneers before their pre-season trip to Spain and is waiting to make his debut for the Soweto giants. He was an unused substitute in Pirates' goalless draw against Madagascan side Disciples FC, but he will know that his time to feature is coming sooner or later.

Mbatha joined Pirates on loan from SuperSport back in January and did not take time to settle into the new environment at the club. When he got an opportunity to feature, he was not fazed at all and it hardly came as a surprise when the Buccaneers made the deal a permanent at the end of the season.
If there is someone who can definitely give Rasebotja advice on what it takes to break into the team at Pirates, it's definitely Mbatha, who has revealed to the Siya crew that he has given the player some words of wisdom on the system at Bucs.
"I've given him some advice on the system and how we play. I feel like he is getting the hang of it and he is a great player, I can't lie about that. He's an exceptional player and I feel like he is still learning and coming into knowing how the team plays and what the coaches want," Mbatha said to the Siya crew.

"He can make a very good impact once he has gotten the hang of it because he is a great player."
Pirates, meanwhile, played out to a goalless draw in the first leg of their Champions League tie against Disciples on Sunday and there will be no room for error when they meet at Orlando Stadium on Friday evening.
