Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa has been out of action for some time now. Initially, he lost his place in the team to Tshegofatso Mabasa and Evidence Makgopa before suffering an injury. This led to him losing his spot not only in the first team but also in the Bafana Bafana squad.

Now, there are reports that both SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United are interested in the player. However, former Bucs captain Edward
"Magents" Motale believes Lepasa should stay at Pirates and fight for his place.
In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, Magents emphasized that Lepasa is still young and has the potential to reclaim his position, both at Pirates and in the national team.

"He is still young. There is no need for him to rush. He should not leave Orlando Pirates. He should stay and fight for his place in the team. We have all seen what he can do when he is on form. Now that he is returning from injury he should give his best and show us his capabilities of playing for a big team like Orlando Pirates. He has been on loan before and did very well. Now it's time for him to stay and fight. Fight very hard," Magents told Soccer Laduma.
The 1995 CAF Champions League-winning captain, who also won the 1996 AFCON with Bafana Bafana, further stated that Lepasa can bounce back in the national team through competition at Pirates.
