Mamelodi Sundowns will host ABC Motsepe League side, Mariveni United this evening and coach Pitso Mosimane has admitted that he has very little idea on what to expect from their opponents.
Sundowns will get their Nedbank Cup campaign underway on Monday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, coming up against an unfamiliar lower league side from Limpopo.
Masandawana will look to add yet another piece of domestic silverware to their cabinets, this all while gearing up for their CAF Champions League encounter on Friday, March 10.

Speaking about tonight's Nedbank Cup clash, Mosimane said, "It is the blindest I have ever been, I tried to see what they do, they don't play, there has been rain, their games have been called off. It is okay, we should not have an excuse, sometimes we play Champions League with people who we don't have the footage from. Imagine, Sundowns has a complaint that they haven't watched a team playing in a SAB league, I mean really, what an excuse."
Mosimane then went on to say that tonight's encounter will also be a chance for certain players to get in game-time and regain their confidence.
"We are going to make a whole lot of changes, overall, we are going to turn the team around like this. But, also, we must understand some players want to play, they are going to say, hey, I have not being playing, I've been on the bench, I have been on the stands, I am coming from injury, please I want to get my confidence. I think Leo would like to play and score at least a goal to break the ice," he said.
