Cape Town City's Eric Tinkler has revealed that he is not too unfamiliar with their Nedbank Cup opponents, Acornbush United.
The high-flying City Boys will travel to the Kabokweni Stadium on Sunday, March 12, where they will lock horns with the ABC Motsepe league side in the round of 32 in the Nedbank Cup.

Tinkler will look to take his side to yet another cup final after being crowned the 2016 Telkom Knockout champions, however, will be dealt with the challenge of defeating an unpredictable lower league side in order to progress to the round of 16.
Speaking in their post-match press conference following their win over Mamelodi Sundowns,Tinkler revealed that he knows who Acornbush are, as he played the team in a friendly encounter during his time as the head coach of Orlando Pirates.
"Acornbush, I played them in a friendly funny enough last year, when I was at Pirates, because we were camping in Nelspruit. There are a few people I know out there that are giving me information. There are a few people and coaches that I know out that area that will give me feedback on their performances," the City head coach said.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 12, at 15h00.
