Kaizer Chiefs find themselves in a tricky situation after redeploying former assistant coach Arthur Zwane, whose new job title is yet to be confirmed officially by the club.
Zwane was removed from the first team, alongside former head coach Molefi Ntseki, when the club appointed Cavin Johnson as interim coach.

However, 'Mangethe' did not leave the club completely, as Amakhosi announced that he will return to his previous position in the development structures.
Soccer Laduma previously reported that the Glamour Boys were planning to give Zwane the job back as head coach of the DStv Diski Challenge side, while current coach of that team Vela Khumalo would assist the senior team, as one of the assistants alongside Dillon Sheppard.
However, Khumalo has remained in charge of the Diski Challenge side and it remains unclear what Zwane's new position in the club's academy entails.
Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr also did not give much away regarding Zwane's new job title in the development ranks, only going as far as saying he is working on producing talent for the future. Motaung Jr also refuted suggestions that Zwane was demoted.
"I can't say it's a demotion, I think everyone who is able and lucky to work at this institution understands that we all get called to duty," Motaung Jr told the media at the AFCON trophy tour at the club's headquarters.
"And, if you get deployed to this position or that position, we are all very grateful to wear that badge and coach Arthur knows where this team comes from and what this team needs.
"Coach Arthur is very focused on being able to bring the talent that we know that the team wants in the future from our academy side," he added.
The Glamour Boys, therefore, may not want to interrupt a good start for the Diski side under Khumalo.
Under Zwane, the reserve side won the Diski Shield in the 2017/18 season and Khumalo repeated the cup success in the 2021/22 campaign.
The Amakhosi legend falling down the pecking order of coaches at the club follows Mamelodi Sundowns legend Surprise Moriri's demotion before the start of the season, where he was redeployed to the Under-19 side, after his Diski Challenge head coaching position was handed to Sinethemba Badela.
