With Ernst Middendorp making changes to save Cape Town Spurs from possible relegation, English goalkeeper Sam Ramsbottom could be one of the first casualties in the team.
On Thursday, Spurs welcomed Thembalethu Moses who has joined the club as goalkeeper coach to replace the departed Calvin Marlin.

Indications from sources close to the Mother City outfit are that Ramsbottom could be released as part of the planned goalkeeping changes for the team.
The 27-year-old shot-stopper joined Spurs in August after parting ways with Scottish club Edinburgh City.
The towering keeper has found the going tough in the DStv Premiership as Spurs have been struggling for results.
In eight games that he has been between in goals for Spurs, Ramsbottom has conceded a whopping 17 goals.
Middendorp has overseen two games for Spurs thus far against Royal AM and Stellenbosch FC respectively and Ramsbottom conceded four goals.

After the three goals he conceded in the 3-0 loss to Stellies on Tuesday, it is believed that the German mentor has had enough of the player and wants to make changes.
