Orlando Pirates coach, Eric Tinkler, is not yet worried about the fatigue of his players despite their hectic playing schedule.

The Buccaneers had CAF Confederation Cup commitments to attend to right throughout the off season when other teams were afforded the chance to rest and recuperate.
Tinkler has played down suggestions that fatigue is affecting his players' performances indicating that he only expects the effects of not having an off season to come to the fore later in the year.
"The media have been bringing up the effect of fatigue on my players, not me. Nobody here at the club has ever brought up fatigue. The concern is largely just from a psychological side due to the fact that the players haven't had an off-season break."
"My concern is later on, around October, November. It might be then that the fatigue problem occurs. It's been about managing the players. These players have played so many games."

"They don't need a lot of conditioning out of the field. We have been managing them very well. We have been giving them as much rest as we feel they need in order for them to perform in the next match, and so far so good," Tinkler said.
