Happy Jele ended up putting the ball through his own net but Tinkler was no impressed by Rakhale, who decided to look for a pass rather than run the clock down.
"It was a bit of inexperience from Rakhale to loom for the pass instead of running down the clock. I spoke to him, he will learn," Tinkler said after the game.
"At this level you have to loom to get the throw ins, wind down the clock or stay up at the other end of the pitch"
Tinkler also explained he decided to start with Kermit Eramus and Lennox Bacela, while leaving Lehlohonolo Majoro on the bench.
"We started with Lennox Kermit. Lennox has the height to help in attack defence. Kermit has been doing well for us of late," he added.
"Majoro has missed some games so we kept him back. Once we made a tactical change with Bibo, we won the middle created spaces.
"I don't just pick players based on how they played the last one. We look at what they do at training too. Even up to game day."
