According to Sport English, Ronaldo is the most selfish player in Spain's top flight this season, and some have even suggested he only plays for his personal goals.
The report claimed that the Real forward averages 6.43 attempts at goal per game, and has taken 135 shots in this campaign so far – this is almost double FC Barcelona maestro Lionel Messi's tally of 76.
Despite shooting so much, the Portuguese star has not scored in 10 of the 21 league games he has played in so far, and this may explain his obsession with trying to find the net.
Only 40% of Ronaldo's efforts have been on target and only 11.8% of them resulted in goals for the three-time Ballon d'Or winner.
The league's most unselfish player, according to the report, is Barcelona forward Luis Suarez, who is not only La Liga's current top goalscorer, but also has a better conversion rate than Ronaldo.
The Uruguayan has taken 61 less shots than the Portuguese this season, but has seen 24% of his shots hit the back of the net.
The former Liverpool striker also scores a goal in every 4.1 shots, while Ronaldo gets one in every 8.4 shots he takes.
